Donations at Pet Food Banks
We couldn’t forget a suggestion from our Interns. As much as they don’t want to share THEIR treats, they want you hoomans to donate to pet food banks on their behalf. Four-legged friends, just like the bipedal companions, are also affected by food insecurity, and Humane Canada, along with Petsmart Charities, have set up a map so you can make sure the furry ones have a nice meal, too.

The interns and their humans also remind everyone that the holidays are an especially challenging time for people struggling with food insecurity and the food banks they rely on. With a 90% increase in foodbank usage in Canada between March 2019 and March 2024, our system is stretched to the max. Please consider donating to Foodbanks of Canada this holiday season — every dollar makes a difference and can help make the holidays a lot happier for those less fortunate than ourselves.
